SIOUX FALLS, SOUTH DAKOTA – On Wednesday, the Great States Construction team was on-site in Sioux Falls to celebrate the groundbreaking of Emra Sioux Falls alongside Great States Development, the City of Sioux Falls, and project partners.
Emra Sioux Falls is a 95-unit active adult 55+ community near Six Mile Road and Arrowhead Parkway in southeast Sioux Falls. Great States Construction will serve as the general contractor on the project.
The community features two levels of underground heated parking, a multi-story grand lobby, a yoga studio, golf simulator, fitness center, spacious community gathering areas, and landscaped walking trails around two large ponds. Residences feature nine-foot-plus ceilings and extra-large private balconies across one and two bedroom floor plans.
For Great States Construction, this marks the company’s first multi-family project in Sioux Falls, adding to an active portfolio spanning South Dakota, Minnesota, North Dakota, Montana, and Wyoming.

Full construction on Emra Sioux Falls is expected to begin in the coming weeks, with completion slated for early 2028.
