Great States Construction to Lead Ada Municipal Complex Project
Groundbreaking scheduled for May 5

Ada, Minnesota — Great States Construction has been selected to lead construction of the new Ada Municipal Complex, a project designed to bring key city services together under one roof.
A groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled for May 5 at 2 p.m. at the Ada Public Works complex, located at 900 West Main Street.
“The City of Ada is excited to partner with Great States Construction to build the new Ada Municipal Complex. The project itself signifies how our community has continuously responded to natural disasters in an effort to move forward and make Ada an amazing place to live,” noted Ada Mayor John Hintz.
Designed in partnership with RHET Architects, with engineering support from MBN Engineering and Heyer Engineering, the Ada Municipal Complex will total more than 18,400 square feet. The project brings together new operational space to support Ada Public Works, City Hall, and City Police.
“This complex, which represents an investment in the city’s future, will improve the accessibility, efficiency, & safety of our community,” Mayor Hintz added. “It’s not just about constructing a new building; it’s about delivery on the promise to our citizens to create a stronger city for the future & the generations that follow.”
The project is intended to improve efficiency by consolidating these services into a single, modern facility while creating space for future growth as the community evolves.
