Completed in September 2023, this 5,000-square-foot renovation transformed an existing Fargo restaurant space from dark and rustic to clean and modern. The project was not simply a refresh, though. It redefined the space, inside and out, reshaping how guests experience the restaurant from the moment they arrive.

The transformation continues inside. Color, texture, and light work together to create a space that feels energetic without being overwhelming. The result is a restaurant that truly matches the spirit of El Agave.

The changes go far beyond surface finishes. Before guests are even seated, they are met with something special: house-made tortillas crafted in full view of the lobby. It is a unique detail that sets the tone immediately and reminds you this is a place where food is actually made (not just served).
