Drawing on the success of its original Fargo location, L.A. Formal & Prom expanded into Grand Forks with a new 3,800 square foot retail space designed to elevate the shopping experience while keeping it approachable.

Positioned on a prominent corner with southern and eastern exposure, the store is filled with natural light through oversized windows, creating an open and inviting atmosphere from the moment customers walk in.

Inside, an exposed ceiling painted white for a clean, cohesive look replaces traditional acoustic tiles, adding height and a more modern feel. Unique lighting fixtures further enhance the space.

Marble floor tile delivers an upscale feel that carries seamlessly from a sitting area in the bridal reception area into the bridal suite dressing areas. At the front of the store, a welcoming two tier checkout counter mirrors the same marble pattern.

The layout is built around the customer experience, featuring eight dressing rooms along with two dedicated bridal suite dressing areas that provide a more private, comfortable setting for key moments.

Completed in just 10 weeks, the space strikes a balance between polished and welcoming, creating an environment that feels elevated without losing the sense of ease that defines the brand.
