Welcome to a world of flavor at Duane’s House of Pizza at BLOC, where Great States Construction brought decades of Fargo tradition into a bold new 3,948 square foot space. This tenant improvement transformed a raw commercial shell into a full-scale restaurant featuring an industrial-modern vibe with exposed ceilings, booth and table seating, a welcoming bar area, and a fenced concrete patio for outdoor dining. 

Behind the scenes, we engineered a complete commercial kitchen designed for Duane’s signature pizzas and fried chicken, including a grease hood system with ductwork running vertically through four residential floors to the roof, a complex challenge that required precise coordination and creative problem-solving. 

Completed in just under three months on an aggressive timeline, this project went from teardown to completed construction on a rushed schedule for a beloved local business. The final product? Delivering a modern space that honors Duane’s House of Pizza’s legacy and serves as a fantastic addition to the BLOC community.
