Great States Construction proudly transformed a 10,000 square foot pole barn into a state-of-the-art auto mechanic shop, complete with modern office space, a customer waiting room with bathrooms, a new parking lot, a retention pond, and enhanced landscaping. This project involved overcoming significant challenges, including dealing with rebounding soils from previous grain bin storage, connecting utilities to an existing building, and addressing sewer elevation issues requiring minimum grade for city hookup. We successfully designed and constructed a berm to protect the sewer pipes from freezing. Despite these challenges, our team delivered a functional and aesthetically pleasing facility on time and within budget, enhancing the property’s overall value and operational capabilities.
