Celebrating Kevin Hochman, One of Prairie Business Magazine’s 40 Under 40
We are excited to celebrate Kevin Hochman, our Director of Operations, for being named to Prairie Business Magazine’s 40 Under 40. This recognition highlights leaders who are making a real impact across the upper Midwest, and Kevin is a great example of that.
Kevin’s path to construction is a unique one. He started his career on the East Coast working in hospitality, where he learned how to lead teams, take care of people, and keep operations running smoothly. When he and his wife moved to the Midwest to be closer to family, he brought those people driven skills into a totally new industry and joined Great States Construction.
Over the past five years, Kevin has become a key part of our team. He is the kind of leader who jumps in wherever he is needed. Some days that means working on big picture operational plans. Other days it means rolling up his sleeves and helping on the ground so teams can keep moving. No matter what the task is, Kevin shows up with a steady attitude and a willingness to help.
His approach has shaped so much of who we are as a company. Kevin leads with humility, patience, and a real belief in building strong teams. His support has played a major role in helping Great States Construction grow and take on more complex projects across the region.
