The Nines – Upscale Boutique in Block 9
Navigating Complexities with Precision
The Nines, an upscale women’s boutique in Block 9, presented unique challenges. The boutique required precise craftsmanship to ensure that every element, from lighting to display fixtures, contributed to a luxurious shopping experience. Great States Construction’s expertise in navigating complex projects ensured that the store was ready for its pre-Black Friday opening, providing a seamless experience for both the client and customers.
Red River Human Services – A Functional and Welcoming Environment
Meeting Unique Needs with Innovation
The Red River Human Services project was designed to create a functional and welcoming environment for the organization’s clients. This building includes state-of-the-art technology and accessibility features, providing a safe and comfortable space for clients to receive support. Key highlights of this project include a first-floor gymnasium, an activities center, and a commercial kitchen. The second and third floors house spacious offices and large meeting rooms for staff use. Great States Construction’s attention to detail ensures that the building meets the unique needs of the organization and its clients.
Radio FM Media – A Total Transformation
From Addition to Renovation
What started as a 7,000 square foot addition turned into a total renovation for Radio FM Media. Great States Construction’s ability to adapt to evolving project scopes is evident in this comprehensive transformation. The new addition features large, functional offices with floor-to-ceiling glass, a multi-purpose room, and a grand entry. The multi-purpose room, equipped with a full kitchen, two 85″ TV screens, and a sound system, is the largest and most versatile space in the building. The existing space was renovated with floor-to-ceiling glass, granite countertops, and functional meeting and break rooms. Despite the scale of the project, Great States Construction completed the renovation without interrupting the building’s daily operations. This achievement underscores the company’s commitment to minimizing disruption for clients, ensuring that business can continue as usual during construction.
Cathedral Lofts – Modern Living in Downtown Fargo
Innovative Design and Planning
Cathedral Lofts is a three-story, 35-unit property offering modern finishes and unique layouts for studio, one-, and two-bedroom units. Planned in-house with the help of Stroh Architects, this project showcases Great States Construction’s ability to deliver innovative residential spaces. The property includes a rooftop patio with grills and a pergola, a 24-hour gym, an interior pet wash station, a rooftop pet relief area, and underground heated parking, all within a small, downtown footprint. These amenities enhance the living experience for residents, making Cathedral Lofts a sought-after address in Downtown Fargo.
Crumbl Cookie – A Modern Vibe

The Crumbl Cookie project involved fitting up a new cookie shop with extensive tile work and epoxy flooring. Great States Construction worked closely with the franchisee to ensure that every detail met stringent specifications, resulting in a cohesive and inviting environment for customers.
